After our Vegas show, we couldn't wait to see our women, so we drove overnight. Arrived in LA around 7 in the morning and took some naps and relaxed until our show later that night.
It's exciting to end a tour, and always to start one. But really, it's just cool to come home. That's cool about touring, you do these trips and then you have the awesome feeling of coming back home.
Everyone was excited. David from Local Pacific.
I thought there was some neat art on the wall. I really liked this cool drawing.
And then to thank us for being awesome touring buddies, they shaved our van.
I suppose that's what happens when you steal City Drive's van on the first day of tour. I returned the shaving cream favor, that's why the pictures end here! And thanks again for following along, you guys rock!

After the Tucson show, I went to hang with Shane and his friend Logan.
This morning we decided to go shooting. Yup, with real guns. I've never shot a gun before, and in fact we were going to be shooting rifles. But first, we needed to take a bumpy ride out to the desert.
But even before that we needed to pass this tractor on the road.
You don't ever do that in California. And I show you something else we don't ever get to do.
Get to ride in the back of pickup tricks, looking like willy wonka!
It was a nice overcast day though, still it was like 100 before noon.
So hears the really bumpy part before we get to the spot we're shooting. This is a short video of Bryan and Shane in the back.
Make sure we have our ear protection. It was dang loud.
Ok, ear thingies check!
Now let's see if it's loaded.
And then I can not show you pictures of us "not" shooting in the desert. Just for your information we only shoot at targets, not animals or plant life, and all of returned home with all the holes we came with.
Oh yeah, and then we drove to Vegas. And for some reason I don't have a single picture from there. Hmmm.
I woke up and saw Bryan hiking in the desert.
I didn't know why. and neither did the doggy, he's even giving me the "what the heck?!?" face.
Bryan bought the whole store.
But just look how happy he looks. Rosy cheecks, giant smile, it's like christmas came twice for him.
After dropping the guys off at the mall. I went to the music shop to find some mallets. Didn't find them, but what I did find on the way back to the mall was this awesome van. I mean look at the picture, it's kind of hard to see, but really it's right in front of your eyes. I'm telling you, not a trick, no optical illusions, it's right there.
RIGHT THERE!
Skrappy's was waiting for us when we got there, this place is cool, but it will be moving sometime soon, hopefully not too far away. They let the kids paint the outside walls.
Almost matched his hat.
There was a band there playing their first show ever. I think the oldest member was 16, maybe, but I think their parents had a hand in the shirt design.
For the life of me I can't remember their name. I really need to start writing this stuff down. Oh well, if for some reason they check this, hopefully they can tell me what it is. Or somebody!
Show time!
And then more ghost on the right!! Ooooooh, scary!
After the show we hung out a bit, this was our third to last show with The City Drive. I played nintendo on Chris the guitarists arm.
That's right, it's a tattoo.
And sometime during the evening, I was trying to take pictures of the moon, it was bright, but all that came out was this.
Until next time!
After El Paso, we had a day to travel to Tucson Arizona, we did pass through Phoenix Arizone, haha, like the song.... ok it'll get worse trust me.
There was a crazy ant hole. And this is where it gets worse, please excuse my crappy accent, or I should say accents!
Finally we arrived in Tucson, we decided to do some promoting at the mall. I went to find a kinkos that didn't exist. So I drove around a lot.
I did get to see an awesome sunset with some really pink clouds.
And more pinkness.
And then we went to our house!
It's kind of hard to see, you might have to tilt the screen or tilt your eyes, you know what, just use your imagination!
So, for some reason, some pictures got lost. I may have deleted them on accident. I hate when that happens. Oh well.
My day off in the bay area was great, then Austin was a blast as usual. Our favorite family to stay with is in Austin, they're the coolest!
So today we first have a long drive to El Paso! Almost half the state of Texas we have to drive through. But good thing, the speed limit is an incredible 80 limit!
Yikes, at least it's long and straight, and pretty much no exits for like 20 to 30 miles in between.
We finally arrived in El Paso at the place we're playing. It's called Chic's, I'm thinking, chickens not women.
When we arrived, we learned there was mix up and there would be six bands playing that night.
And for some reason, all of them were there. So we hung out and talked.
Lotta people! I wish I remembered the name of the other bands but, I don't.
They were nice guys though.
While in Austin, Mark from the City Drive got a tatoo.
That is also his tongue. Its over the wicker man that they burn at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. I also finally figured out what I want to get for a tatoo. So I'm going to wait a year and see if I still want it.
Everyone arrived particularly early, so I warmed up for a long time. Danny from City Drive took photos!
What a sweet shirt.
Very late like, City Drive played, then us.
Our awesome friend Raul went and got us some grub. Here is a video of Bryan enjoying said grub.
I arrived at the humid Houston airport around four in the morning.
Good thing the security line was pretty empty.
I boarded the plane and then had a nice layover in Dallas, I mostly slept on the floor waiting for my plane.
I don't think I got to watch any movies, or perhaps I was sleeping.
Anyway, so the reason why I was flying to the bay area is because one of my really good friends was getting married. Normally I would have to miss it, but I've gone to the same school as him since 4th grade, we even went both went to UCLA.
It was a beautiful day in Los Gatos. My friends name is Matt and his wife is Leah. It was nice going to the wedding because I was reunited with some friends I haven't seen in a while.
Everyone was dressed so nice, and there is JB looking at the camera!
Time to PARTY!
My table at the wedding was called the Shark Tank, named after the San Jose Sharks hockey team, I don't like hockey.
But I do like my friends!
It was time to tear it up on the dance floor. I like doing the jitterbug, and the charleston, sometimes I do the robot if you're lucky. And if I'm really in the mood, the moonwalk.
Ah here we are getting jiggy.
The food was great, and lots of it.
It was time for the flower thingy tossing.
I had a bad feeling.
Uh oh! What I don't have a picture of is me catching the garter. Yup, looks like I have to pop the question. This should start some rumors!
All in all, it was a great time, a very beautiful wedding. And a nice mini vacation during tour.
Long, long, long day for me. I'll just give you a quick rundown of what is going to happen. Leave for Baton Rouge from Dallas at 8 AM. Arrive in Baton Rouge 3 PM, get rental car, play two shows, leave Baton Rouge drive to Houston, TX. Catch flight at 6 AM.
I mostly slept on the drive since I had to drive after the two shows we were doing in Baton Rouge.
It's quite neat to be on this raised bridge for so long, over swamp, and it was a nice day. A little humid, but I suppose I'll live.
Now if you asked me, where do you think would be the most unlikeliest place to see a Tiger, I definitely would've said gas station rest stop.
I don't know if you can see him, but he's right under the sign.
Ok not really. Here he is. Or she, I'm not really sure.
It was quite weird to stop in the middle of nowhere and find this tiger asleep in the cage. But cool!
As we were leaving, we noticed a store, a very descriptive store. Told you everything you needed to know about this particular store.
"old, new, used---- all kinds of stuff"
That's if you need stuff.
We just ran out, go back!
We arrived in Baton Rouge, and went straight to the airport so I could get my rental car.
That's right, I rented a Suzuki asskicker!
It had an Aux plug, so I was excited. That means you can plug your ipod straight into the stereo. It would come in handy for my four hour drive after the show!
We set up at the show, Shane was looking very Napoleanish at one point. Or maybe it's just this picture.
"ugh, gosh!"
Yes. This was the first show, and I had a fan club.
I like the bottom right dude, I told everyone look scary, he did scared!!! And what a great face that is.
We had some younger fans at the show too.
I am a little disappointed at how young he's starting such a bad habit, but hey, it's his choice!
Just kidding people, I do not condone underage anything!
We had a lot of people come and say hi at the merch table, always very nice.
Aw, look at the happiness.
It then got happier, Meriwether played.
Then I got in the car and drove all night to catch my flight! It was a long day. I'll post some pictures of the wedding I went to in the bay area, that's why I was flying.
I'm missing some photos.
But I did get this one.
I know it's not that funny, but I find it morbidly funny.
Customer: " Hi, my grandma is pretty much on her last leg"
Casket Store Worker: "Oh excellent, glad to hear! You'll be really interested in this mahogany casket, it's got all the latest in casket technology. In lid CD player, so you're granny can listen to her favorite music forever. Four drink holders! And, last but not least, this casket is friendly to the environment, it decomposes in just 80 years!"
I know I'm weird.
So we arrived at the Door, it was sprinkling when we got there, and then later it was....
And that was it! Good show, and now and early morning! I have a very, very long day tomorrow.
So again it was more promotion today. I was on the computer all day! Josh's grandma did make us some amazing ribs and dirty rice, it was so delicious!
After that we went to the movies and watched 28 Weeks Later.
If you haven't seen 28 days later, do that first then go see this one. Man so good. City Drive met up with us to watch the movie as well.
Before we went in the movie, Shane took a picture with the Simpsons.
Then I offended some Pirates by asking another pirate to take the picture so I could be in it. He thought I wanted a picture with him, I felt a little bad, but I got over it real quick.
Arrrrr Matey!
After the movie we hung out in the parking lot, very high school of us. Brought back good ol memories. We also tried to do popcorn tricks!
Sorry I meant Day Off in Dallas. Well either way, not a whole lot of pictures.
(Side Track)Oh right, I'm continuing the blog, my power cord broke in two, got a new one, went to Hawaii, and so for the next couple days, I'll be updating everday!(Done sidetracking)
Like I said, we had the day off, so Bryan and I played on the computer all day. And Shane and Josh went to the mall.
this picture was used to make a blog for a contest we're in. I'll link it here so you can help us win a chance to play with FALL OUT BOY. Now, I'm not going to say if I like them or not, I don't, but it's a great oppurtunity, that's all I'm gonna say.
Ok, shameless plugs aside. After promoting for the day, we went to hang out with David and Tom from Local Pacific at their hotel room. We couldn't figure out how to get in. And well neither could they.
And here's Tom, or someone I thought to be Tom!!!! Dun Dun duuuuuuun.
Luckly he was a friendly thief. Also his finger didn't make a good gun.
