If you leave your graduation pictures just lying around, stuff is going to happen.
Sorry I like to embarass people, it's kind of my thing.
Kristian's parents are super awesome, they made us these huge delicious hamburgers for lunch.
I think Josh's burger is a little upside down though. I don't know, that's weird.
After lunch, I went out back to visit Emory, he's the cute little doggy.
He's so cute.
Kristian's sister recieved her marching band uniform today, and Shane had to try it on.
Finally after a large lunch, and the ulitmate fridge of soda, which I somehow avoided, we were on the road to Oklahoma City.
This was our first time in Oklahoma City, it was pretty cool. The venue was neat, the entire wall was painted by several artists. I really liked the furry dude that looked like one of the quiznos characters.
You know what I'm talking about.
With us, Local Pacific, and The City Drive, we have a pretty formidable merch area.
Yes!
After the show we drove to Dallas to stay with Josh's grandma. On the way, Shane and I slept. Shane slept with his eyes open, I know it's creepy. It looks like he's dead.
Not cool Shane, you're scaring me.
Today was the first day I was starting feel normal again.
Too bad it was kind of a sad looking day.
I didn't try to get up. It was a really cloudy day.
When we arrived in Amarillo, there was a lot of lightning, it was pretty B.A. So I took some video hoping I'd get something. And I did. Look at the right side of the video.
It was amazing, this is an untouched photo, in fact, I don't really know how to mess with photoshop except to make flyers.
City Drive played the show, and all our fans watched.
It was a good night.
Tonight we had another Denver show, it was 21 and up only unfortunately. I finally rolled out of the apartment around 3, Tony the awesome dude we were staying with, came with me and got some food and ran some errands.
I didn't even have to pay him.
After doing our errands we went to eat at CHIPOTLE again! Again, Chipotle, you hear me!!!!!!!
And here is Josh enjoying a delicious burrito.
Mmmm, look how happy he looks. I'm trying to get us sponsored here.
So we left for the 3 Kings Tavern where we were playing.
On the way, we happened to witness some gentlemen enjoying their spring break, or at least that's what it seemed like.
We finally arrived to find The City Drive, well into their way of hanging out.
How do you chill? And another question, what are you supposed to do when you get to a bar real early?
I know, bad joke. I watched Bryan and David play pool.
I also hung out with Bryan and Tony.
It's always nice to get free beers.
Even if they are not the most classy beers.
I became insanely jealous of this one dude that came in the bar. He was allowed to bring someone.
His dog got to hang out in the bar with him. She was a nice 6 month old bulldog. Very sweet. I want to take my dog drinking!!!
The night ended, and everyone was hungry. So we stopped at the Disneyland of Fast Food. Taco Bell.
Look at that sign, it's so dazzling!
We then arrived back at Tony's place and hung out a little more. The cat played in the beer box we brought home.
The cat wanted to drink too.
This morning it was time to take the van to get an oil change. I know so much fun. When I started driving the van, I realized how bad the brakes were. So it looks like it's going to be an expensive day.
Poor van, or more like poor us! New brakes for this bad boy.
Finally got back to the place we were staying just in time to leave again.
Colorado Springs is about an hour south of Denver. It's amazing to me that you can go about thirty minutes and you're out in some beautiful scenery.
Shane's girlfriend sent him some awesome cakes and desserts for his birthday. Look how delicious that looks!
We arrived a little late to load in but still ahead of everyone else pretty much.
The City Drive rolled up soon after, they are going to be touring with us for the rest of the tour. So Shane and I decided we should start the tour off right.
This guy can do whatever he wants today. And he did.
The show started, I hung out along the side and took some pictures!
Then I got some of The City Drive.
Also if you come to our show and hang out by the merch table, there is a good chance you will be caught by surprise!!
See. Shannon on the left was kind enough to bring Shane a cake for his birthday. And Shane was kind enough to try and eat it in one bite!
Early start this morning.
It was a bit of a drive to get to Denver from Park City, Utah.
I got in my usual position laying down in the back. This tour I haven't driven one time because I've been sick since the beginning.
These two pictures of are Wyoming. I think the only time anybody comes here is to drive through, I'm sure it's a nice place, but it's kind of desolate. Sorry if you're from there. I hear Jackson Hole, Wyoming has some awesome kayaking and river rafting!!! So it's got that going for it.
I took some more, but I was too lazy even to sit up and take it.
It was a nice scenic drive. A little boring, I listened to about four hours of NPR podcasts. Which I really like to do because they have some interesting stuff on there. The music and the pop culture. Then I also download the news since that's the only way I know what's going on in the world. Sadly, most of the news is about the war.
And here is my art shot, this is what you do when you're bored in the back of the van.
Black and White.
We finally arrived in Denver at the Lifespot. Unloaded and made our way over to Chipotle. I haven't eaten anything this heavy in about 10 days so I was a little nervous, but also excited since I love Chipotle, you HEAR THAT CHIPOTLE. SPONSOR!!!! I'm hoping they'll read this.
On the way back, I noticed some Local Pacific stickers.
The funny thing is they posted a sticker right below a sign saying don't post! You crazy dudes!!!!
The show was fun, it was great to see some familiar faces.
This was shot, just before I was abducted.
I'm lame.
I woke up this morning with a stranger in my bed.
But after that I left my camera at the house we were staying at, and of course on the very last day of our tour with InMemory. Like I said, I'm lame. Sorry guys, I dropped the ball please forgive me.
On another note, I'm passively playing this game when I'm on the internet, it's hard to explain so I'm just going to send you the link, because it's addictive, informative, and pretty cool. I'm on it all the time, so I want other people to play too, we can chat on their when I'm online and we can be friends and you can set up web mines, it's weird but cool.
Ah, sleep.
It's always nice to have someone to cuddle with while you're sleeping.
Aw, how cute.I was feeling much better today, still really sore, and little tired, but at least I stopped throwing up. I made myself a sandwich and went outside with the dogs to relax and enjoy the scenery.
That's Mesa, he and Lego were outside enjoying the warm sun.
And here's Lego, looking for food I dropped.
Outide there were these planter boxes and they had some really pretty flowers.
I don't know what kind they are, if anyone knows, I'd like to know.
After lunch, I took a shower and went on a small hike with the dogs. It was more like a very slow dirge, for me at least, the dogs were doing laps around me.
Mesa likes to carry stuff. He also likes to eat rocks.
We then left for the show and met up with the InMemory dudes.
I guess they went to the mall and some went to the tattoo parlor.
That's Ryan the drummer. It says, "One for the road"
And Jordan their merch guy got a new grill!
It's good to be a gangsta.
We hung around the show, putting stickers everywhere. This was at Kilby Court in Salt Lake. Most likely you will see a Hanks sticker because I think we put up about fifty.
So we hung about, Bryan attacked people with drumsticks.
And drank honey. But there's the proof Bryan attacks people.
Finally we played, InMemory played and it was a good time by all. I happened to walk into the merch room at the end of the night while a jam was going on. This involved Graham the singer for InMemory and Shane our drummer on the credit card swiper.
Enjoy.
So unfortunately and fortunately a show got cancelled today. Which for me was great, since I got back to our friends house at 6:30 AM from the emergency room.
Slept in until 1:15 in the afternoon. I hadn't slept a good night in almost a week, so it was a nice change to sleep for more than an hour straight.
Today we were just hanging around, using the internet, enjoying the outdoors, drinking lots of fluids and resting.
This is Legolas, or Lego for short. He's hanging around just to help clean things up, especially off the floor.
The rest of the night was spent eating, lounging, internetting. Bryan and Josh went to see Spiderman 3 and Shane and I caught up on Lost!
We awoke early because we had a long drive to Provo.
I was already up since I was tossing and turning all night. I think the longsest I slept was about 45 minutes.
I got back into my laying down position in the van.
I listened to my ipod, I downloaded a bunch of podcasts from NPR. I like listening to that.
I got a couple of pictures during the drive, from my laying down position of course.
A nice picture of some rocks, mmm yes.
Then it was pretty much flat for a long time. We drove through the salt flats.
It was dang boring. Lots of salt and straightness.
Then the day got worse for me.
When we arrived in Provo, I started feeling really nauseous. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to play again. So I started setting up when it was time and it was no point I had to vomit. I went to the bathroom and let it go! I know gross. We played, I tried my best, but near the end of the set i was at a bad point and had to leave mid song to throw up again. And from then on it was continuous. It got so bad, I ended up going to the emergency room after the show because there was some blood coming out too.
But don't worry, I'm ok, I'm just a wuss. I'm feeling much better today. Just going to chill, drink lots of fluids, try to eat some soup. And get better. I will live!!!!!!!
This morning I woke up early, only because I barely slept at all. I went to breakfast with my parents for mothers day.
When we got back we left and I just got in the van and laid down. I was feeling really bad. I had a fever and chills. At one point I threw up.
I didn't take any photos the entire day. And by the time we got to Reno I was in worse condition so Leslie got us a hotel room, I went straight there and tried to sleep. The guys went and did the show without me.
And that was my sad day.
